: Haiti DOES NOT have several crucial instruments needed for the present relief work.. A few months ago my husband and I felt God leading us to Port-au-Prince, specifically to help pioneer the countries first helicopter relief service. The costs were exponential. Ostensibly, helicopters are needed. What would take an 1 hour in a car, could take only minutes in a helicopter. As of now, any aide group wanting to \"rent\" a helicopter has to pay for: gas, a pilot, and co-pilot from their neighboring country, the Dominican Republic. The cost is over $10,000 a day. Now, we ask for your assistance. Our mission is to charter at least ONE R-44 Helicopter from state side, and ferry it to PAP, Haiti. The volunteer pilots work would be: delivery of medical supplies, food and water, transportation of aid workers, injured, or stranded Americans; all while landing in areas where airplanes, cars, or even big helicopters, could not reach. The cost will be around $6,000 a day. We ask you to partner with us in pioneering this type of relief service, if only for this crisis!
