Philanthropist.org Adds Fund-a-Fellow Opportunities

In order to support its Micro-Finance Field Study Program, Philanthropist.org adds a "Fund-a-Fellow" Program to support Field Study trips to the Dominican Republic. Generous corporate and individual donors are able to fully or partially fund volunteer slots on our Micro-Finance Field Study trips each year. The "Workerteer Fellows" and the work they do on the ground are an integral part of the link between entrepreneurs and our donors/investors. These 10 to 12 workerteers are typically USA residing college students or recent college grads who choose to partake in a week of volunteering to learn Micro-Finance through direct field work. Our change-makers create dozens of face-to-face interactions that otherwise would not have been possible...meaningful personal connections and friendships, life-long stories, and new crops of globally aware, socially responsible citizens!
