Beruk Ambatchew is a first-generation Ethiopian American, born in New York as the son of a representative of the United Nations Development Program and lived abroad in Africa for 5 years as a child. He received an early introduction to the issues of economic inequality and underdeveloped countries. A project coordinator with extensive experience in clinical trials, facilities management and a BA in History from Binghamton University. Beruk signed on as a worketeer in October of 2009, and is currently managing the site blog and facilitating efforts in community outreach and website Link Partnerships.
