Description: This PAID position is responsible for entering and continuously updating website content to ensure website merchandising and promotional efforts achieve company’s marketing and sales objectives. Scheduling is flexible (2-5 days per week) to allow for student schedules. Compensation will include an hourly stipend. Join our Career Fair to learn more about this Opportunity! When: Thursday September 16th @ 6pm EST (arrive 30 Minutes early)

What: 6:00-6:30pm Overview of Planet Shoes, its Mission & Philosophy
6:30-7:00pm Minute Overview of Position & Responsibilities
7:00-8:00pm+ One-on-One Interviews with Management
Join Us on September 13th – you’ll have an opportunity to meet our team, ask questions, and enjoy light refreshments. Please be on time as no candidates will be accepted into the building after 6pm.
Position Responsibilities:
· Manage item creation process of new products to the website
· Write new and modify existing product descriptions
· Set up and maintain cross-sell and up-sell functions
· Update pricing
· Create and maintain specialty shops
· Ensure content is SEO friendly
· Communicate regularly with vendors for the most current product information.
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree with marketing experience, preferably in an internet retail environment
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Internet Research Tools
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent writing skills
