How it Works for Philanthropists:
|
- User Signs up and enter Funds. Money will be held in Escrow.
- Search for Projects to sponsor (ideally in field of expertise)
- Bid against other Philanthropists on a project of Interest
- Match is made between Philanthropist & Volunteer
- Log in to the website to see how your funds were spent
- Provide feedback based on pictures, and other materials from Volunteer
- Philanthropists receive acknowledgement based on the activity/volume of projects they are bidding upon, rather than dollar amount actually given. This assures an active community and assures the one-to-many nature of philanthropists-to-volunteers is balanced out.
|
|
How it Works for Volunteers:
|
- Post your Project. Describe in detail what you will do.
- Project will go live, and be available for Bidding for 3,7,or 14 days.
- Highest Bidder will “win” the right to fund your project.
- Funds will transfer from Winning Person or Company upon auction close.
- Introduction is made between Volunteer & Philanthropist
- After the project, each volunteer must have his philanthropist complete a quick feedback form. Volunteers are encouraged to send digital pictures, write documents, testimonials, and upload other materials that the Philanthropist can review.
- Once the Philanthropist reviews the documents, he assigns a Score to the Volunteer. The Volunteers with the highest feedback scores will have a higher likelihood of getting their future projects accepted.
